My name is Chris Mohammed and I am the proud owner of the State Farm Agency located at 9615 Avenue L in the Canarsie area of Brooklyn, New York. I was excited to have the opportunity to open my door May of 2022 just a month before State Farm celebrated its 100 Year Anniversary. This opportunity allows me to help my community and become a resource for so many people looking for the right information. I have a deep passion to help people. Growing up that was always one of my greatest qualities my family and friends always liked as I would want to help anyone get the information they were looking for or to help them accomplish things.

I was born in Trinidad and lived until I was about 5 years old. My family had already lived in Canada years before I was born so we migrated to Canada first and after a few years made our way to New York. I have lived in many places throughout New York, Harlem, Queens, and various locations in Brooklyn. I attended both Andres Hudde J.H.S. and Sheepshead Bay H.S. before studying Biology at St. Johns University and also taking Business and Marketing at Kingsborough C.C.

I come into this opportunity with 13+ years of experience. Primarily as a prior State Farm Team Member handling Service, New Business and Management.

Our agency focuses on educating our community on the the importance of having the right coverage and the many ways they can protect their families. We provide Free quotes and there are no service fees accessed to the work that we do. At our office we are able to also provide Free Insurance and Financial Service Reviews for anyone looking to obtain a better knowledge of what they are covered for.

We are now licensed to serve the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut Areas.

Rochelle has been a team member of Chris Mohammed Agency since May 2022. She was born in Trinidad and grew up in Flatbush, Brooklyn. She attended Fashion Institute, and quickly noticed she was no longer interested in fashion as a career path. Soon after became a licensed bartender. Agent Chris later presented her with a great opportunity in Insurance. Rochelle is now licensed for Property and Casualty. Narieema started as a Customer Liaison in 2022. She was able to learn quickly and transitioned to a Hybrid Team Member and helping our New Business Team. Narieema frequently helps our customers bridge the gap between their needs and the request of our other departments. Narieema was born and raised in Guyana. She is excited about living in New York where dreams are made of. She is a current student at Queensborough Community College, studying Marketing/Management. James is a Haitian American who has been apart of the Agency since September 2022. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY James envisioned being a into law. James moved to Queens after graduating from St. Johns University. Starting as part of our Customer Liaison Team, James was able to obtain the training to also assist our customers with New Policies. He is now a Hybrid Team Member assisting current customers with their needs and also onboarding new customers. James has a 5 year old daughter and welcomed a newborn earlier 2023. In his free time when not spending it with family he is always researching new business strategies and looks forward to opening his own business in the future.
