Hello! My name is Chris Mohammed, and I am proud to be the owner of the State Farm Agency located at 9615 Avenue L in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. I was honored to open my doors in May 2022, just a month before State Farm celebrated its 100th anniversary—a milestone that reflects a century of experience and service.

This opportunity allows me to give back to my community and serve as a helpful resource for individuals and families looking for the right insurance coverage. Helping people has always been a core passion of mine. Growing up, family and friends often appreciated my willingness to assist them in finding the information and support they needed to accomplish their goals.

Originally from Trinidad, I moved to Canada with my family at the age of five before settling in New York. I’ve lived in several vibrant neighborhoods, including Harlem, Queens, and Brooklyn. My educational journey took me through Andrés Hudde Junior High School and Sheepshead Bay High School, followed by studies in Biology at St. John’s University and Business and Marketing at Kingsborough Community College.

With over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry—primarily as a former State Farm team member specializing in customer service, new business, and management—I bring a solid understanding of how to meet the unique needs of each individual. Our agency team collectively has over 20 years of experience dedicated to helping you protect what matters most.
